Spyder On... Making Money
If you read my articles, here or on DeviantART, you may be aware that I flit from one subject to another and occasionally (as just recently) go months without writing anything.
Such are the rigours of life, such are the pangs of making money.
Which brings me on to the point, if incredibly un-subtly, I tend to write about the subject on my mind and as my son approaches 2 years old and my next son is only 6 weeks away from being born the subject of making money grows large in my mind.
Ive brushed over the subject of making money in earlier articles (namely Becoming a Pro Photographer Prt.2 ) and looked at the mechanics of and common pathways to making money, but as I sit here straining my brain to think of extra ways to squeeze those few extra pounds, dollars and euros out of my archive the thought occurs that I was perhaps a little too general with my advice.
I needed to keep things short and sweet at the time but now I can stretch out a little.
I also decided it was a good time to write this section because I got a phone call a few days ago, a friend of mine has a friend who has just had loads of compliments about his photography and now he wants to learn more
I detect that glimmer of the dream of the Pro Photographer oh dear
So I think its time for a cold hard look at reality.
This is supposed to be an intro, so lets get down to work.
In this section of Spyder on
Ill look at ways to make money within different fields of photography, probably including fashion (both Catwalk and the real world), glamour and adult photography (or porn as its known), Art photography, media photography, music, travel and a mish-mash of extra bits at the end Im sure.
